Plastic Product Mold Design
TERA's mold engineering team brings Moldflow simulation, DFM review, and parametric 3D design to every project — so quality problems are resolved before steel is cut. From your concept sketch or 3D file, our engineers define gate location, cooling layout, and material flow for the optimal tool design.
-
Plastic Prototyping
Verify part design and function before committing to production tooling. TERA offers rapid prototyping via CNC machining, SLA, and SLS — for both small precision parts and larger housings. Prototype-validated designs reduce tooling revisions and shorten time to market.
-
Plastic Injection Mold Tooling
TERA has been building precision injection molds since 1998. Our tooling facility runs FANUC ROBODRILL D14MIA machining centers, MAKINO NC EDM, and a SODICK Wire-Cut EDM — giving us the capability to hold extreme tolerances on multi-slide, insert, and multi-cavity molds.
-
Plastic Injection Molding
90+ injection presses from 80 to 800 tons, running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. TERA applies scientific processing to all engineering-grade resins — with design-for-process tooling, close-tolerance inspection, R&D support, and precision cooling systems — to deliver complex molded parts right the first time.
-
Plastic Secondary Services
TERA provides complete secondary operations in-house: screen printing, transfer printing, spray painting, hard-coating (up to 7H scratch hardness), UV coating, laser etching, ultrasonic welding, plastic plating, and full assembly. One partner from molded part to finished, packaged product.
-
Plastic Vacuum Forming
TERA provides vacuum forming for large-format parts across automotive, marine, industrial, and consumer applications. Materials: ABS, PETG, PS, PC, PP, PE, PVC, PMMA. Part thickness 0.15 to 10 mm.
